**Role Overview**:
As a Video Editor / Social Media Video Editor, you will play a key role in transforming our video content into engaging social media experiences. You'll be responsible for editing and optimising videos specifically for platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Social Media Video Editing**: You'll cut, edit, and enhance videos to fit the unique requirements of each social media platform. This includes adding music, creating eye-catching thumbnails, and ensuring each video meets optimal length and style guidelines. A solid grasp of tools like CapCut and Riverside will be important.
**Understanding Platform Dynamics**: You'll need to understand what grabs audience attention on social media. While we provide direction on where to cut videos, your insight into pacing, visual hooks, and audience retention strategies will be crucial.
**Case Study Videos**: We produce case study videos using StreamYard interviews. You'll take interview footage, combine questions and answers, and turn them into compelling narratives that showcase how our clients have driven success.
**YouTube Q&A Content**: You'll edit StreamYard videos into neat Q&A segments for YouTube, adding start and end screens and ensuring everything looks polished and professional.
**Sizzle Reels and Animations**: We'll occasionally need you to create short, exciting sizzle reels—mini animations or highlight videos using photos and dynamic effects to build anticipation for events or announcements. Your creativity with music, transitions, and visual flair will shine here.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
**Skills and Experience**:
Proficiency with video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Riverside)
Strong understanding of social media video trends and platform best practices
Experience in creating engaging, audience-focused video content
Ability to tell a compelling story through editing and visual effects using the client’s Brand CI or look and feel.
Skills in animation or creating sizzle reels are a big plus
