The Shared Services Assistant is responsible for assisting the Cashbook Administrator:
Download bank statements daily.
Capture the cashbooks daily.
Reconciling the cash books on a weekly basis.
Calculate forex and commission on batches.
Ensure resolution of queries within the agreed department / business unit SLA’s.
Ensure department targets are achieved.
Participate in various ad hoc projects / tasks when required.
The Shared Services Assistant is responsible for assisting the Accounts Payable / Receivable Administrator:
Monitoring and maintaining creditors control and debtors’ function.
Foreign creditor payments and reconciliation.
Local creditor payments and reconciliation forecasting.
Processing returns, raising queries where there are discrepancies.
Accurate record keeping.
Maintaining client relationships.
The full revenue cycle from invoicing to debtors’ collection.
Maintaining Client accounts on all airlines.
Statements and Invoices sent to clients
Processing invoices and credit notes
Intercompany receivables processing
Ensuring collections are correct and timely.
Monitoring reasons for delays in collections.
Identifying and allocate monies coming in.
Updating the daily cash flow.
Returned stock processes and procedures.
Participate in various ad hoc projects / tasks when required.
Skills and knowledge
Minimum requirement is a Matric with Mathematics, NQF5 or better accounting qualification (or working towards such),
Minimum 1 year’s practical experience in accounts payable, receivable & cashbook (with multi-currency transactions).
Sound financial and accounting skills.
Good computer systems capabilities (Excel; Accpac, other accounting packages).
Good communication and interpers onal skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Ensure productivity and meet deadlin es.

Able to work with a hig h attention to detail (accurate).
