You will be responsible for leading the company's financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, providing strategic and analytical support to the executive leadership team, and driving business performance. You will oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and analysis. This role requires someone who is a strategic thinker, results driven and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Cross-functional collaboration in this role is key.

**The Role**

You will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for the smooth running of the current FP&A function. The team includes a data analyst and junior FP&A analyst. You will work alongside the current head of FP&A for a few weeks/months to ensure a smooth handover, and assist with executing on the FY24 budgeting cycle during this period. You will be responsible for financial feasibility and ROI analysis along multiple themes, including product, customer, regional and key projects, to determine present and future financial performance. This includes the building of dynamic financial models with scenario analysis.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the FP&A team and ensure projects and goals are actively being tracked and that progress is being made.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and forecasting.
- Analyze and report on financial performance against key metrics and KPIs.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting efforts.
- Work closely with the CFO to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and drive business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data.
- Take over and execute on current FP&A projects that are in progress.

**Skills and Experience**
- CA (SA), ACMA, CGMA or equivalent qualification.
- 8+ years of experience in finance, with experience leading an FP&A function.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Working experience in Power Query (bonus: Power BI, DAX).
- Bonus: experience in advising on and implementing streamlined/automated finance tools.
