Warehouse/distribution Manager

**Handling Warehouse/Procurement operations.**

Authorising shipping requests from Procurement, based on the best interest of the company in most cost effective way.

Monitoring logístical requests and plan accordingly. Regional Delivery, collection and courier services must be forecasted on daily basis.

Schedules to be maintained and recorded for Collection / Driver & Courier delivery accordingly.

**Admin Office**

Guide / direct and implement Procurement / logístical & Warehouse processes. Set up of new, improved systems with Warehouse / Logistics Manager - Operations.

Monitoring Procurement / Admin & Warehouse staff on daily basis. Ensure that schedules are up to date and outstanding queries resolved.

Guide / direct / co-ordinate schedules daily. Ensure processes are in line with operational requests.

**Operational requirement
- Warehouse**

Oversee capacity and resource utilization. Ensure daily scheduling of company delivery vehicle.

Oversee warehouse operations and Monitoring of stock received / driver collected. Daily checking on warehousing disciplines when it comes to Receiving / Dispatching and housing of stocks. Warehouse assistant to be directed and focussed on warehouse operations.

Authorise, re direct functional need of warehouse staff.

Authorising use of couriers.

**Overseeing Procurement Operations**

Direct and coordinate activities of the procurement department with Service & installation need. Guide staff with any concerns they experience while performing their tasks. Handle sensitive issues and direct to Warehouse /Logistics Manager if not resolved.

Ensure Procurement statistics are recorded on daily basis. Charges / Billing and cost control is primary focus. Any out of line situations to be discussed immediately.

Managing staff, monitoring work schedules and assigning specific duties. Delegation.

Continually monitor and improve the overall performance of the Procurement / Receiving Department.

Understand the goals of the organisation and develop a clear vision of exactly how warehouse operations will help achieve them by implicating sufficient systems for optimum performance, quality, speed, flexibility and cost effectiveness.

Set guidelines and managing them daily to achieve fast and efficient results around Daisy operation procedures, making sure the job gets done.

Assisting sales / service departments with daily enquiries/queries.

Assisting external dealers with Procuring principals and requests. Supply Guidance on Price where required.

Determine staffing requirements. Ensure productivity levels are maintained on daily basis.

Ensure Warehouse operations are maintained and checked on regular intervals. Manage daily, weekly, monthly checks.

Ensure Daisy warehouse align with Occupational and Health safety procedures.

Ensure all staff are trained / guided and able to execute requests in line with Operational requirements.

Drive best practices and aim to improve services to align with operational standards.

Ensure preparation of supplier invoices and present for authorisation of expenses. Supply supporting documents for supplier invoices, couriers, and billings received.

Submit onto Creditors department - handle relevant queries.

**Knowledge**

Knowledge in Telecommunication industry / IT and CCTV industry

Customer service orientated

Technically minded would be a distinct advantage.

Basis understanding of warehouse operations would be helpful.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R269,000.00 - R300,000.00 per year
