**Overview / Purpose of the job**:
As Operations Manager, you will hold a vital role in branch sales generation, and business growth. With such a position, you are responsible for a variety of products and service offerings. You are expected to give a friendly prompt service to all customers. Management expects you to use your own initiative, generating adequate sales leads and committing to a prompt and professional service delivery to our clients at all times. You will report to the General Manager and have a staff compliment to manage.

**Responsibilities**
- Managing team leaders
- Ensure the general shop and working areas are neat and tidy
- Assisting customers with queries and orders promptly
- Ensuring stock is replenished and reordered timeously
- Phoning customers and SMS on Bulk SMS system for collections
- Ensuring all deadlines and quality standards are met and customers are communicated with regularly through the process
- Operating and maintaining the necessary machinery
- Continually advance your product knowledge and that of other employees
- Actively manage other staff members by working hands on, servicing customers and overseeing the coordination of deliverables
- Preparing all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organised and timely manner
- Understanding and implementing all policies, procedures and quality standards
- Driving areas of growth and product sales
- Merchandising including visual placement of products, ordering and sourcing of new suppliers/items
- Meetings with all managers are required on a weekly basis and a check in with managers is required on a daily basis

**Min Requirements**:

- Matric
- MS Office
- Staff Management experience essential

**Retail hours: Mon - Fri: 8 - 5pm; Saturdays: 8 - 1pm
