Department University of Venda -> Vice Chancellor and Principal -> Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Research & Postgraduate Studies -> Research and Innovation Job Title OUTPUT SUPPORT OFFICER Post Level Grade 8 Job Type Support - Univen Funded Closing Date 14/11/2025 Job Requirements - A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification in Administration and Management, Social Sciences, or a related field. - At least four years of experience in research administration within a higher education or research-focused environment. - In-depth knowledge of research processes, research management systems, and administrative procedures. - A Honours or Master’s degree will be considered an added advantage. - Proficiency in data management, including capturing, extracting, and analyzing research-related data. - Strong computer literacy and familiarity with research databases and systems. - Excellent written and verbal communication - **Duties**: - Capture and manage research outputs using the CONVERIS online system or other approved platforms, including DHET Excel submission spreadsheets when required. - Review and approve research output submissions from faculties and departments before final submission to the Research Office. - Prepare and compile documentation for submission to the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). - Submit research outputs to DHET via the Research Output Submission System (ROSS). - Source and verify data from various bibliographic databases and other relevant sources. - Ensure compliance with UNIVEN and DHET policies related to research output and administration. - Coordinate the collection and submission of research outputs from all faculties. - Edit and complete spreadsheets with personal details as required by DHET. - Maintain regular communication with researchers to support accurate and timely submissions.
