**Responsibilities**
- Process remuneration, casuals and seasonal workers on payroll system
- Monthly processing of staff payroll (overtime, leave management, deductions and loans
- Increase and bonus preparation
- Prepare payroll import
- Oversee leave balance reports
- Manage and oversee leave and overtime
- Administration of banking details, loans and pay slips
- Provide assistance to PA to BOD and Chairman for annual leave requests when on leave
- Compile HR monthly payments
- Check and oversee daily attendance
- Update organogram
- Assist Governance and Logics Manager if required
- Maintain, update and implement HR SOP's
- Schedule meetings, take minutes and ensure information is shared with the EE Committee
- Update and maintain HR Dashboard
- Coordinate annual medical assessments for Drivers and TA's
- Maintain employee master list
- Annual updating and dispensing of employee details form and Restraint of Trade
- Assist EE Consultant with accurate and timeous submission of WSP as per legislative requirements
- Ensure correct administrative procedure is followed in recruitment and termination (including induction and exit interviews)
- Develop and disperse job advertisements (internal and external)
- Collect applicant information according to interview checklist
- Set up interviews and provide Line Managers with interview packs
- Conduct reference, credit, criminal and background checks
- Arrange psychometric assessments (if applicable)
- Contract of employment and probation period is managed effectively
- Schedule new employee induction a week before their DOE
- Plan and schedule annual performance evaluations
- Maintain PE and JD templates for all employees
- Provide effective departmental support to Chairman, MD, BOD and General Managers as and when needed
- Issue employee warnings and keep record of warnings
- Oversee the scheduling and payment of employee training
- Manage HR incidents, misconduct, disciplinary hearings, IR and grievances
- Manage employee probation and reviews
- Manage Employee and Man of the Month (sending out nominations, collating nominations, letters)
- Update and dispense employee well-being calendar
- Coordinate annual Plant staff uniform order
- Provide assistance and backup to Office Services Department when needed
**Minimum Requirements**
- Matric
- Relevant HR Diploma/Degree will be an advantage
- 5 - 7 Years’ HR Generalist experience
- Literate on MS Office Suite (Proficient on Excel)
- Must have payroll experience
