**Down Pack Controller - Down Pack Area**

**Position: Down Pack Controller**

**Reporting to: Depot Manager**

**Location**: Rialto - Pomona Site

The Down Pack Controller will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Down Pack area. Ensuring that targets are achieved daily, health & safety of department are up to standard, manage employees, food safety requirements &
Company Code of Conduct are adhered to.

**Key Job Functions**
- Execute routine operations of assigned area, ensuring direct reports are following policies and procedures related to employee, food and safety and environmental compliance.
- Monitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are within specifications.
- Partner with Customer Service department (Telesales) to meet customer specifications and timeline.
- Develop operational plan and monitor routine operations for all production processes.
- Develop, supervise, and provide coaching to direct reports including coaching company core values and guiding principles for assigned facilities or region.
- Responsible for personnel decisions related to performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports.
- Completion of daily production reports
- Plan and execute daily production plan.
- Feedback to Sale Representatives on production timelines, execution plans and effective out of stocks.
- Material Requirements planning for Inventory and Consumables
- Maintain Production equipment and ensure working order.

**Knowledge and Experience Required**
- Matric (Gr 12)
- Diploma in related field or equivalent experience preferred
- 1 - 2 years Supervisor experience
- Food Safety Standards an advantage
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Power Point) & knowledge of Syspro or any other

WMS (Warehouse Management System)
- Good planning, organisation skills & attention to detail
