As the Senior Copywriter writer of Evercam, you will create content to promote brand and marketing goals. You will work closely with the Digital Team and Content **to execute projects that include web and social content, blogs, newsletters, press releases, and other written content while keeping up to date with trends while sharing fresh ideas and new skill sets with the team.**

**Your Day to Day**:

- Researching industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
- Writing clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
- Proofreading and editing external facing content before publication
- Submitting work to marketing leaders for input and approval
- Coordinating with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
- Conducting simple keyword research and using SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Identifying customers’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content
- Developing sales outreach content/messaging

**What you Bring to Evercam**:

- Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role
- Write new educational content (definitions, explainers, video scripts and feature stories) for an IT and business professional audience.
- Portfolio of published articles
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Familiarity with web publications
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress)
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience working in SAAS or related field.
- Experience with B2B sales and marketing
- Creativity and the ability to develop original content
- Produce clear, easy-to-read copy.
- Perform SEO and competitor research.
- Use SEO guidance and best practices in content while emphasizing editorial integrity.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant writing, preferably in a marketing or advertising agency setting.
- Ability to collaborate, either virtually or in person, during standard eastern time zone business hours.
- Proven experience as a content writer, preferably in the marketing and advertising industry.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
- Strong research skills.
- Strong knowledge of SEO principles and best practices to optimize content for search engines.
- Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
- Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
- A portfolio of previous work that demonstrates versatility in writing style and ability to adapt to different industries.
