**Counterhand**

**Purpose of the role**

The counterhand plays a key role in day-to
- day operations of the business. The aim of the counterhand is to ensure that all products are on display and at the correct counter by opening of business daily.
- Reporting To_:

- Subordinates_: NOT APPLICABLE

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Keep counters clean, neat, and presentable.
- Ensure counters are packed to desired levels, eye catching and appetizing for customers.
- Assist Blockman when cutting meat and where necessary.
- Required to operate machinery and equipment with sharp objects.
- Pack and wrap products to customer satisfaction.
- Be attentive when packing, weighing, and labelling products to avoid any losses.
- Reach daily, weekly and monthly targets
- Conduct monthly stock take.
- Follow company health and safety procedures and standards.
- Assist other departments when required.
- Ad hoc tasks as assigned by the manager.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- A valid Matric Certificate.
- Customer Focused
- Excellent communication skills, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Sober habits
- working with dangerous equipment and sharp objects.
- Accurate and attention to detail.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Able to work in a team.
- Physically fit.
