**Job Advert Summary**:
**Purpose of the position**:
The role of the Radiographer is to provide a high standard of radiographic chest X-ray imaging, using computer-aided detection (CAD) systems, whilst ensuring that patients receive high-quality care. Deliver a high standard of service to relevant stakeholders and to a diversity of patient presentations. Communicates effectively with community and facility-based teams to ensure delivery of high-quality service and linkage to appropriate services.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- National Diploma / Bachelor's degree in diagnostic radiography
- Current registration with HPCSA
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a radiographer
- Knowledge and experience of CAD4TB and/or any artificial intelligence system of TB screening using digital chest X-ray
- Private practice number will be an added advantage
- Willing to travel and work after hours
- A valid driver’s licence
- Clear criminal record

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provides mobile digital chest X-ray screening for TB case finding
- Keep accurate patient records including recording radiation dose and exposure factors.
- Work with the D-CXR team to ensure that all data is collected and verified to ensure data quality
- Participate in the district/sub-district and facility development of operational plans for the deployment of the mobile D-CXR
- Facilitate the referral process of clients with high CAD4TB score for presumptive TB testing
- Maintain effective working relationships with Community Health Workers (CHWs), outreach teams and facility staff
- Supports referral for Xpert Ultra TB sputum testing and subsequent linkage to care
- Supports referral and linkage to care for incidental CXR findings not requiring presumptive TB testing
- Supervise the teams to ensure day to day direct service delivery
