**Job Advert Summary**:
**Purpose of the position**:
The enrolled nursing auxiliary will be attached to the digital chest X-ray container, to conduct TB screening on all clients, collect sputum on the spot, follow up and successfully link them to care.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Higher certificate in auxiliary nursing or an equivalent qualification as nursing auxiliary
- Knowledge of basic TB, and HIV management
- Experience in health promotion and health education
- Current registration with SANC as an auxiliary nurse
- 2 years of working experience within a similar environment or any clinical setting
- Computer literacy in Microsoft package
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills
- Willing to travel and work after hours
- Clear criminal record

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Conduct community education on TB prevention, symptoms and adherence to treatment
- Mobilise households, workplaces and TB hotspots for screening and testing
- Conduct dialogues and engagements on TB prevention
- Screen all clients for TB at the digital chest X-R
ay containers using approved TB screening tool
- Collect on-the-spot sputum collection and follow up on test results from the laboratory from all eligible clients
- Liaise with the outreach teams for the follow-up of clients
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of data for reporting
- Update client records with laboratory sputum results and treatment start date
- Ensure availability of registers and other commodities required in the D-CXR units
- Work with the data capturer to ensure that all data is collected and verified, to maintain data quality
- Tracking and tracing of the loss-to-follow up (LTFU) patients and ensure linkage back into care
- Link with facility teams on tracing of household contacts of all TB index cases from the digital chest X-ray container
- Filing and administrative duties any ad hoc duties as required
