**We are looking for an experienced Head Baker at our beloved Lust Bistro & Bakery establishment. It's located on the Vrede & Lust wine estate in Paarl.**

**Qualifications we are looking for**:

- Someone with 3-4 years minimum experience as a senior baker

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all daily bakery operations
- Hire, train, and supervise bakery staff
- Create staff schedules
- Ensure high-quality & consistent products are produced
- Assign daily tasks and monitor workflow
- Deliver, organise, and control all outside bakery deliveries
- Achieve the standards in hygiene and health & safety within the bakery
- Assist the Kitchen Manager
- Ordering stock
- Monitor sales, control costs, and analyse profit margins
- Develop and test new recipes and seasonal items
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints
- Ensure compliance with all company policies

Salary is negotiable.

We are looking for someone who is willing to turn our bakery around and put the work in to do it. Someone who cares about the quality of the products and the joy of creating beautiful, mouthwatering products. Someone who brings ideas to the table and has leadership skills.

Pay: R12 000,00 - R16 000,00 per month
