**Role Summary**:
The Logistics Coordinator will report to the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager and work as an independent contractor in our Supply Chain team to support our organizational mission of accelerating health equity for patients in low
- and middle-income countries. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for tracking outbound product shipments, supporting the collection of required shipping documents, conducting supply chain analysis (ex. inventory reports, drug distribution plans, etc.), and communicating recommendations to improve processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Track multiple shipments across several different countries at one time
- Review and analysis of quarterly inventory reports
- Assess product forecasts against inventory position
- Support Program Officer to ensure collection of shipping documents
- Develop local knowledge of customs clearance process(es)
- Update and maintain source documents
- Strong communication with internal and external partners
- Communicate and escalate all issues, making recommendations for next steps and resolution

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working and/or consulting in supply chain management
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with Excel for forecasting and reporting purposes
- Highly organized and adept at multitasking with a solid track-record of following through on commitments
- Experience working in a global and multicultural capacity across time zones and among diverse team
- Experience working in customs clearance in countries across Africa and The Middle East
- Fluency in written and spoken English, French proficiency a plus
- Ability to travel (locally and internationally within the Africa region)
