Sales Consultant

**SALES CONSULTANT**

This role entails passionate sales of catering equipment - building relationships with existing clients and driving the sales journey from interest to purchase.
- Our clientele operate in restaurants, hotels, bakeries, small businesses, spaza shops, etc. Building new and existing relationships with these groups, in a multi-cultural society is critical._

**Location**: Stikland, Cape Town

**Schedule**: Monday - Fridays, 08:00-16:30 & every 2nd Saturdays, 09:00-12:00

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide general sales support in showroom (needs analysis, product demonstrations)
- Grow relationships with existing distributors and end user customers
- Call on prospective clients (business owners, restaurant owners, catering managers, hotel managers, chefs etc) and follow up on leads
- Effectively manage the sales administration
- Prepare and issue quotes and invoices
- Process payments via cash, eft or credit card
- Provide exceptional service and follow through on orders, couriers and deliveries
- Track progress of sales according to targets
- Keep up to date with new products, market conditions, advertising and promotional trends.

**Minimum requirements**:

- 3-5 years in a sales position
- 1+ years’ experience with catering equipment
- Fluent in English. African language or Afrikaans is a big advantage.
- South African Drivers licence
- Further education in Sales/Marketing or Hospitality industry experience is advantageous.
