**Essential Skills Requirements**:
As a SAP Basis Consultant, you'll need to demonstrate:

- Advanced proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle and HANA Database administration.
- Intermediate expertise in SuSe Linux Operating System administration.
- Exposure to Cloud technologies, preferably Azure or AWS.
- Proficiency in Incident Management (IM), Change Management (CM), and Problem Management (PM).
- ITIL process knowledge and work experience.
- Familiarity with Agile Methodology.
- Expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM).

**Advantageous Skills Requirements**:
In addition to the essential skills, advantageous skills that would be beneficial include:

- General Cloud IaaS knowledge, such as MS Azure or AWS.
- Experience in the motor or related manufacturing industry.
- Exposure to JIRA and Confluence.
- SAP Technical Solution Build exposure.

**Qualifications/Experience Required**:
To excel in this role, you should bring:

- A degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of IT experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in SAP Basis (required).
- ITIL certification (Advantageous).
- SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA 2.0 and/or SAP Certified Technology Consultant - SAP S/4HANA System Administration (required).
- Project Management experience and/or certification (Advantageous).
- Solution Manager experience (Advantageous).

**Role and Responsibilities**:
As a SAP Basis Consultant, your responsibilities will encompass:

- Coordinating and resolving Change Management (CM) tasks and tickets.
- Resolving Critical Incident Management (CIM) tickets.
- Handling and resolving Incident Management (IM) tickets.
- Leading tasks and resolving Problem Management (PM) tickets as identified.
- Ensuring timely closure of tickets and tasks within defined Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Overseeing all aspects of SAP Systems operations to ensure compliance with IT Internal Controls.
- Maintaining and controlling responsible SAP Systems to ensure proper maintenance and compliance.
- Supporting Feature Teams in an Agile approach by managing assigned User Stories in alignment with the organizational Agile Working Model.
- Providing ticket duty services as required by Feature Teams.
- Ensuring systems compatibility with agreed AG strategies and standards.
- Troubleshooting system issues and providing support.
- Developing systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements.
- Preparing system and technical documentation in compliance with ISO standards.
- Proposing proactive solutions to enhance support for new or existing business processes.
- Regularly reporting on system status to ensure compliance with targets.
- Reviewing and presenting proposed system solutions to Feature Team Lead and/or Sub Product Owner.
- Understanding business requirements, preparing AS-IS and TO-BE documents, and obtaining user sign-off for Business Blueprint documents.
