Specialist Engineering Artisan
**Requirements**:

- A relevant Trade Test Qualification: Boilermaker or Millwright
- Minimum of 5 years’ post apprenticeship experience.
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Supervisory Experience.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Must be physically fit and able bodied.
- Compulsory to work after hours and over the weekend.
- Compulsory to do standby duty.

Key Performance Areas
- Managing and leading the facility workshop and resources

to ensure the maintenance of facility fixed plant, container fleet,
manage and control the assets, conduct pro-active and reactive
maintenance including checking, greasing, fitting, turning,
welding, etc. on plant and equipment in accordance with
maintenance plans and OEM manuals.
- Co-ordinates activities and sequences associated within

specific functional areas such as Building Maintenance,
Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic.
- Fault finding and repairs.
- Supervising staff in the performance and execution of their

duties to ensure work is completed timeously.
- Complete internal transactional documentation.
- Planned and predictive maintenance.
- Ensure that all maintenance work is done in accordance

with best practice and in accordance with OHS requirements
and regulations.
