We are currently seeking a skilled **Diesel Mechanic with Agricultural Experience** to join our team in our **workshop**. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of diesel-powered farm equipment and machinery, all within a hands-on, workshop-based environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Workshop-Based Repairs**: Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines, agricultural machinery, and heavy equipment within the workshop.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in farm equipment such as tractors, combines, sprayers, and harvesters.
- **Preventative Maintenance**: Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is ready for seasonal operations, reducing the risk of downtime.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and inspections conducted on machinery.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with workshop supervisors and other mechanics to ensure that equipment repairs are carried out effectively and on time.
- **Safety and Compliance**: Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities follow safety protocols and manufacturer specifications to maintain a safe working environment.
- **Continuous Learning**: Stay updated on new diesel engine technologies and repair methods related to agricultural equipment.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably with agricultural or heavy machinery.
- Solid understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems in agricultural equipment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in a workshop environment.
- Experience using diagnostic tools, welding equipment, and hand tools specific to diesel mechanics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A solid understanding of safety practices and regulations within a workshop setting.
- Valid driver’s license.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in Diesel Mechanics, Agricultural Mechanics, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with specific agricultural brands (e.g., John Deere, Case IH, New Holland).
- Experience in a workshop environment and familiarity with the tools and systems used to repair farm machinery.
