This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced agricultural operation while working with modern equipment and a dedicated team.The Role: Diesel MechanicWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic to support workshop operations and ensure the reliable functioning of agricultural machinery, trucks, and utility vehicles. This hands-on role is critical to minimising downtime, maintaining safety standards, and supporting continuous farm operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance, servicing, and repairs on agricultural equipment, trucks, and bakkies.Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to ensure operational efficiency.Maintain accurate records through job cards and service documentation.Uphold safety standards and workshop policies at all times.Collaborate with the Workshop Foreman and fellow team members to meet operational goals.About YouQualified Diesel Mechanic (trade-tested).Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably within an agricultural or farm-based environment.Proven experience working on trucks, agricultural machinery, and utility vehicles.Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills with a solutions-driven approach.Proficient in both English and Afrikaans (essential).Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.Able to work independently as well as part of a team.Safety-conscious, adaptable, and able to perform under pressure in a dynamic farm environment.Working Hours: 07:00 - 16:00, with overtime as required.
