- Manage and coordinate systems and standards to ensure that the products and services of the company meet the highest Quality compliance and standards;
- Audit in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement checks and communicating required corrective actions to the responsible Production Supervisor/Manager or SHEQ team;
- Assist/Support and Co-ordinate production staff on all non-conformances and rework processes;
- Product failure investigations, sort and segregate non-conforming materials or products;
- Investigate production stoppage related to quality of the product or process failures;
- Conduct quality meetings with production team, supervisors and managers;
- Effectively communicate issues compromising production and quality of products;
- Support Incoming goods by performing inspections on raw materials;
- Verification of equipment/jigs & fixtures/gauges used to measure/check quality adherence and ensure compliance;
- Train and assist production personnel to carry out quality control functions and ensure compliance to meet the quality goals;
- Develop systems that promotes quality in all aspects;
- Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings to carry out dimensional checks;
- **Documentation**_
- Audit, review and develop SOPs, Visual aids, NCRs and other process related documents for production;
- Generate and record NCR’s for internal related issues. Generate CAPA and maintain records;
- Raise and document NCR with suppliers and keep records. Audit suppliers where needed
- Conduct and record quality training;
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarising data (rejects, reworks, scrap, waste etc.);
- **General**_
- Analyse Quality data, trends and recommend improvements;
- Achieve departmental and organisational KPI targets;
- Trend quality issues on a weekly and monthly basis and report failure patterns;
- Investigate customer complaints related to product failures;
- Assist ISO team to ensure all Production and Quality conforms to ISO Standards;
- Conduct audits related to Process, Product and ISO requirements;
- Maintain an acceptable organised and clean work area (5S);
- Support and promote Health and Safety in production;
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required;
- Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures;
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Minimum of a Tertiary Diploma/Degree in Quality Management
- ISO9001 or related experience. Auditing and maintaining of a QMS
- Minimum 3 years Quality Control or Assurance experience in a production/manufacturing environment
- Experience or qualifications in any Engineering field would be advantageous Computer literacy - MS Office. Excel experience is essential.
- SAP experience would be advantageous

**Salary**: R413,000.00 - R510,000.00 per year
