**ROLE PURPOSE**

This role profile is an abridged version of what the job incumbent is expected to do in an ordinary day. It does not cover all the duties that will be undertaken by this person which may be delegated to the job incumbent from time to time

**MAIN OUTPUTS**
General groundskeeping and general outside maintenance:

- General cleaning and environment maintenance,

Storm water system:

- Flash and Clean storm water drains on a scheduled basis
- Readings and checks RE stormwater drains,
- Wastewater treatment plant, vital service, the 2 Groundsman will be a redundancy for this critical system, daily inspection and servicing escort, & cleaning, spillage/ overflow reaction

Parking level maintenance:

- Maintain, clean and replace trash bins in Parking levels, Maintain and repair doors, doorways and entry/exit points, Monitors fire extinguishers and checks inspection dates, replace light bulbs and tubes when needed, monitors environment around EV chargers, and ensuring safe usability, cleaning wet service pipes

Exterior building face:

- Clean and maintain exterior louvres. Inspecting security light points and reporting faults to Electrical teams

Monthly Checks and Inspections:

- Conduct regular monthly checks and inspections to maintain and enhance the safety and functionality of wet systems across the Zola campus, aligning with local requirements and South African practices.
- Pest control monitoring and assisting service provider:

- Assist service provider, with escort services, access to pest control equipment in crawl spaces, limiting ingress of pests to environment, e.g. grate covers over drainage systems, and small entrance areas

**Duties**:

- Clean area and equipment in area when needed, like crawl space and Drainage systems, Monitor and maintain bird control systems, and clean bird droppings if needed, on all possible purch areas
