We are seeking an experienced Margarine Plant Supervisor to oversee our margarine production facility.

Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the production process, ensuring that all production targets are met and that the production process runs smoothly. - Manage staff, including scheduling, performance management, and training. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. - Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed. - Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed. - Follow production schedules, ensuring that production is aligned with Supply chain demands. - Create and maintain production records and reports. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure that production goals are met. - Continuously monitor and improve production processes, striving for increased efficiency and effectiveness - Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field - At least 5 years of experience in managing a production plant. - Experience with Ammonia refrigeration plant and blend recipes - Excellent leadership and communication skills - Strong problem-solving skills - Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. - Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software - Knowledge of mechanical and electrical fault finding and repair techniques - Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends. Preferred qualifications: - Experience in the food production industry - Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to food production. - Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
