**ROLE SUMMARY**

Assess Sheet Metal Parts in PCF, Operate: 3D CMM (VENTO), Portable Measuring Arm (FARO) and 3D Scanner (GOM)

**POSITION DETAILS**

- Take an analytical approach to solving problems through systematic monitoring and checking of information to meet industry standards and ensure parts and components meet specifications.

- Generate reports, Interpret the data & issue a Dimensional Concern Information Sheet (DCIS) for improvements.
- Maintain housekeeping & 5S (by ensuring that each and every tool has a place & is in its place if not in use)
- Ensure that all parts are returned to the line once the assessment is completed.
- Measure BIW/Sub-assemblies on CMM
- Ensure Data is uploaded from CMM into Web Based Data Management
- Analyze Data from Web-Based Data Management
- Highlight all out-of-spec points to the responsible engineer
- Measure assembly fixtures using FARO Arm
- Generate reports from FARO Arm measurements
- Work shifts (3 shift pattern)
- Work overtime as and when required.
- Plan and manage time effectively and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
- Be commercially aware and recognize the relevance of efficiency and the need for change to processes and procedures to meet business and customer requirements.

**QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE**
- National Diploma Mechanical Engineering or Engineering qualification.
- 2-3 Years experience in:

- Manual 3D Scanner in the Auto Industry,
- 3D CMM Measuring
- Faro/ Romer Arm Measuring

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES**
- Computer literate
- Manual 3D Scanning (GOM)
- PCDMIS CAD ++, CAMX, and POLYWORX Programming
- 3D CMM Measuring skills.
- FARO / Romer Arm Measuring skills
- PCF/eTCB experience
- Fault finding skill using data.
- Data-driven and analytical.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Must have good problem-solving skills.
- Measurement Systems Analysis Necessary
- 3D, CMM Measuring, and Blue light scanning/programming knowledge
- Portable Faro / Romer Arm Measuring knowledge
- Interpreted SPC data and identify process capability
