Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- Junior Lecturer:_- An applicable BEng or BScEng degree in Civil Engineering, necessary to register with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a professional engineer.- A background in water engineering specialising in modelling and information systems, with a MEng or MScEng degree in water and/or wastewater engineering.- An excellent academic study record.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and at least one other official South African language.- Must qualify to register for a PhD in Civil Engineering at the latest by February 2026 and graduate within five years.
- Lecturer:_- An applicable BEng or BScEng degree in Civil Engineering, necessary to register with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a professional engineer.- A background in water engineering specialising in modelling and information systems, with a doctorate in water and/or wastewater engineering, or a MEng or MScEng degree coupled with at

least three years' relevant technical or research experience in this field.An excellent academic study record.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and at least one other official South African language.- Must already be registered for a PhD in Civil Engineering and expect to graduate within three years.
