Position 1 (Senior Lecturer/Lecturer)- Senior Lecturer: A relevant doctoral degree, plus at least three years' applicable practical, teaching and/or research experience, **OR** an applicable master's degree in engineering with at least

eight years' applicable technical or management experience in industry.For Lecturer: A relevant master's degree, plus at least three years' applicable practical, teaching and/or research experience, **OR** an applicable doctoral degree.- An ECSA accredited BEng or BSc(Eng) degree in mechanical engineering, or an equivalent qualification recognised by ECSA for registration as professional engineer.- Sound communication and teaching skills.- Proficiency in English with the ability to function effectively in a multi-lingual environment.- Good interpersonal and organisational skills.

Position 2 (Junior Lecturer)- An ECSA accredited BEng or BSc(Eng) degree in mechanical engineering, or an equivalent qualification recognised by ECSA for registration as professional engineer.- A relevant master's degree.- Sound communication and teaching skills.- Proficiency in English with the ability to function effectively in a multi-lingual environment.- Good interpersonal and organisational skills.

Recommendation/Aanbeveling- A proven record of experience as engineer in the field of industrial machinery, mechanical design and / or systems engineering.- An established research record in the field of industrial machinery, mechanical design and / or systems engineering and fundraising in these areas.- A relevant doctoral degree, a current registration in a PhD programme in mechanical engineering, or a willingness to start a doctoral degree study (part-time) within the first year of employment,

or the receipt of a doctoral degree within the first year of employment.PrEng registration.
