PepsiCo's product portfolio includes a wide range of enjoyable foods and beverages, including many iconic brands that generate more than $1 billion each in estimated annual retail sales. **Responsibilities**: **Job Overview**: Operates a telephone switchboard by handling incoming and outgoing calls. Take messages. Receives visitors, determines their needs and directs them accordingly. Has direct contact with VIP clients. Contributes towards the image of the organization. Normally reports to a Functional Manager. **Reception Duties**: - Greet and assist visitors, clients and employees in a professional and friendly manner. - Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area. ** Administrative Support**: - Create and manage purchase orders for office supplies, catering and other requirements. - Book and coordinate boardroom and training room schedules. - Register new employees and contractors on the Time and Attendance System. - Manage stationery procurement, issuing and reconciliation. - Handle catering arrangements for meetings, training sessions and events. - Oversee facilities-related tasks, including maintenance requests and general upkeep. - Manage the courier process, including sending, receiving and tracking parcels. ** Skills & Competencies**: - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant administrative systems. - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. - Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Qualifications: - Matric or equivalent Qualification. - 2+ years of experience in a receptionist and administrative role. - Computer literacy - Intermediate (MS Office), SAP/PGT. - Experience with procurement systems and time and attendance software is advantageous. ** “PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act"
