My client, a well established international company specializing in corporate and leisure travel is seeking to employ an experienced Travel Consultant with at least 5 years experience to join their dynamic team

**Requirements**:

- Good knowledge of GDS/Aviate/Lime/Virgin Systems
- Excellent geographic knowledge
- Understanding of travel back office and front office proceses
- Knowing your way around the airline booking systems and industries, airports, logistics with indirect flight transfers
- Attention to detail
- Good computer skills (MS Word, Outlook and MS Excel)
- Ability to communicate at all levels (written and spoken), with good common sense. It is a specific requirement to ensure all communications are always accurate and timeous. Excellent command of the English language and spelling is very important. Accuracy of clients details are vital and maintaining accurate records
- Deadline driven
- Able to work under pressure

**Duties will include but not limited to**:

- Able to work well on GDS and build flights if it cannot be provided on the Aviate website
- Able to build complicated flight itineraries at the best price, combing alliance airlines
- Able to source best flights and prices through the GDS and supplier systems
- Creating best routings and use initiative and experience to meet clients budget and needs
- Managing of bookings / flights / deadlines / cancellations / schedule changes and liaising with Managers.
- Client changes and coordination between changing the other aspects including accommodation / transfers / car rental and other.
- General knowledge on how to book holidays globally and international trips important.
- Being able to book flights, hotel and car rental or transfers for our corporate clients, within their travel policy requirements and put together the itinerary, double check logistics and quality control. In addition, we sell other services which include excursions, experiences, airport parking and many other products. Training will be provided but the initial knowledge on how is important.
- Diary management on Outlook.
- Project management of trips being allocated from beginning to end and working as part of the team to attain goals. Being willing to offer to help where required.
- Doing research and quotes, custom travel itineraries and travel bookings. Comparing offers on the internet and gaining knowledge of what the client has access to on Skyscanner / Expedia and other websites.
- Extra services include entering APIS details into airlines, checking visas, health requirements, passport expiry, check in’s, monitoring, changes (voluntary and airline changes). Odd check ins will be required as a shared task for our clients out of hours.
