Content Marketing Specialist

**Purpose of Role**:
As a content marketing specialist, you will create compelling content that connects with target audiences, driving engagement and conversions. You’ll develop content for various channels, including social media, websites, campaigns, and training materials, ensuring alignment with brand goals and objectives.
**Key responsibilities**:
Design content marketing strategies for the various platforms and set objectives
Content marketing initiatives must be aligned to achieve business objectives
Produce high quality content tailored to each platform that is well research, and aligns with each platforms objectives and the company values.
Translate content where relevant for the various platforms
Track KPIs and measure the success of campaigns content.
Plan, create and manage campaigns across a variety of channels
Measure, refine & report performance of all content driven campaigns
Analyze campaign performance using analytics tools and provide actionable insights.
Provide regular campaign performance reports
Create engaging, original content tailored to Shop2Shop’s audiences and platforms
Work closely with various teams to produce content for campaigns that align with brand and company visuals.
Actively participate in monthly KPI meetings and one-on-one sessions to track progress and align on performance goals.
Take part in bi-annual performance reviews with the Head of Department.
Complete all required training courses to continuously develop skills and stay updated with industry best practices.

**Skills**:
Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
**Related tertiary qualification (Essential)**: A qualification in marketing, communication, or a related field.
Five-plus years in Content Marketing or Copywriting (Essential): Demonstrated experience in creating impactful digital content.
Understanding of paid media and social media tools (Essential): Proficient in Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) and other social media management, analysis, and content scheduling tools
Knowledgeable in SEO and SEM (Essential)
Knowledge of the informal market and target audience behaviour (Desirable)
**Brief Interpretation**: Skill in understanding and translating briefs into effective content strategies
