**TFG Jewellery** has an exciting opportunity for a **Merchandise Allocator **who is passionate about retail and thrives on analysis. The Allocator would be responsible for accurate allocations of product to stores, controlling and managing replenishment programmes, store stock transfers as well as compiling reports for analytic purposes.

**Responsibilities**:

- The portfolio entails the strategic inbound and outbound management of inventory from supplier through the DC and finally to stores.
- Allocators are also responsible for formulating and executing a merchandise distribution strategy, as well as act as a point of contact for stores and operations for product requirements and require dedicated administration.
- Support the planner with promotion plan and briefs.
- Setting up and action weekly updates on promotion performance. Allocations done before deliveries to support promotion plans by store based on historical performance
- Analyzing and compiling of reports

**Requirements**:

- B.Comm/ related
- Matric essential (relevant Tertiary Business Qualification would be advantageous)
- 2+ years in allocations
- Excels at data analysis and the ability to draw inferences
- A high degree of numeracy and a detailed and strategic approach to work
- Strong business acumen and merchant thinking
- The ability to communicate and persuade effectively at all levels
- Ability to show initiative and be resourceful
- Ability to source and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Sound decision making ability
- Must have excellent skills with MS Office (Excel at an advanced level) and/or other Business Intelligence Tools/ Planning Tools
