**KAMOA COPPER SA is looking for a Project Planner**

**The Kamoa Copper Mine, is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometers west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometers west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.**

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Kamoa studies and execution of the Kamoa processing plant and related areas, including; leadership, coordination, implementation, execution and control from project development to completion and commissioning. As the Senior Project Manager you'll have to ensure consistency with overall KCSA strategies, goals and visions in line with company policies and procedures.

**You** will have the following**:
Minimum of a Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mining, Mechanical, Processing etc.) with a;
Minimum of 15 years in Project Management, in the Mining and Processing environment.

**Preferably you will have the following qualifications**:

- B.Eng./B.Tech;
- Project Management Diploma;
- Financial & Technical Assessment of Mineral Projects and;
- 20 years of Project Management experience.

**You will have advanced skills and knowledge in**:

- Qualification in project management or equivalent
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
- People management training

- Project controls training
- Financial management training
- Contract law
