**Main Purpose of Role**

The role of the Optimization Head / Manager is to critically examine statistical and mathematical models and to understand the relationships between the inputs and outputs. This include, but are not limited to, the detailed understanding of scenarios, sensitivities, stress-testing, accuracy, performance, and volatility around the models to optimize the performance of our models and operational environment.

This is the proactive management of models and thus challenging the status quo of the models in the production environment.

**Required Minimum Education / Training**
- Honour’s degree in a mathematical, statistical or actuarial field.

Required Minimum Work Experience
- 7+ years

- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into mathematical models
- Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for optimization and implement solutions
- Monitor performance
- Propose corrective and optimal action to operational environment
