- Ensure the planning and execution of directorate procurement plans.

- Provide supply chain management support to internal and external stakeholders ensuring compliance to internal Policies and Procedures

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Degree (Business Administration, Public Administration or similar)
- Minimum 3-5 Years’ experience in a similar portfolio
- Knowledge of public sector procurement practices and the procurement provisions of the PFMA, PPPFA and Treasury regulations

**Competencies**
- Strong analytical, strategic and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects and tight deadlines
- Good project planning and organizing skills
- Ability to function independently and within a team
- A valid code 08 driver’s license and own transport is essential
- Fully bilingual in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape
- Proficient MS office skills to enable correspondence to be actioned on behalf of the team
- Able to use spreadsheets confidently and effectively
- Ability to handle issues in a courteous, efficient, and effective manner, always maintaining a professional approach, regardless of circumstance
