**Key Accounts Manager - Local Sales**

Our client in the agriculture (fruit) sector, is looking for an experienced, self-motivated and target driven **Key Accounts Manager** to join their Sales Department in Hermanus. This is a hybrid position that will report to the Sales Manager.

**The purpose of the Role**:
The purpose of this role is to execute the weekly sales plan for the business while ensuring both the grower and the retailer are well informed on volumes, quality, packaging and markets.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Sales**, the alignment of sales and market allocation of volumes to the company’s strategy while hitting budgeted sales price
- **Retailer service excellence **providing retailers with sufficient information on quality, volumes and changes to the plan in order to manage expectation
- **Farm service excellence **providing growers with sufficient information on quality, volumes, and changes to plan to manage expectation
- **Innovation **providing retailers with new innovative ideas and trends on packaging, mix berry packs, etc. to growth the business.
- **Local Market **coordinating class 2 product and communicating volume and pricing with farms.
- **Frozen Sales **managing pre season programs and communicating volume changes and availability with clients.
- Tertiary: Diploma/Degree in Sales/Marketing/Finance
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience in fresh produce
- Good literacy, numeracy, computer skills, excellent report writing skills
- Driving license with own transport

**Salary: R50k - R60k p.m. (Depending on experience)**

**Starting date: ASAP**

**Area: Hermanus (This is a remote position, but frequent visits to Hermanus will be required)**
