Description
We have an exciting position available for a full time Sales Consultant who will be based at our showroom in Bellville and who will service a client list for the Northern Suburbs area.
Main purpose of the job
Promote and sell Hertex merchandise.
Minimum requirements
National senior certificate, certificate or diploma in sales or marketing (advantageous), minimum 2 years sales experience - retail or wholesale environment preferred, exposure to an interior design environment (advantageous), computer literate and own reliable vehicle. Good telephone etiquette, excellent communication skills (written and spoken), good presentation skills, good with building and maintaining customer relationships, excellent customer service and after-sales service, good with selling products and concepts, good with developing new business and markets, and professional with good business etiquette. Be assertive with drive and ambition, be decisive and able to prioritise, be determined, able to cope under pressure, good with time management and activity planning, able to take action, initiative and follow through, and creativity and innovative thinking.
Main duties
Meet sales targets by visiting customers according to contact plan and selling merchandise, develop new business by identifying new sales opportunities and build productive relationships with customers.
