**Responsibilities**:

- Working for and under the advisement of Professionals to fulfil transportation tasks.
- Assist with design and production of drainage, roadway, bridge, and transportation planning projects.
- Work in several computer programs, following training, to perform engineering and design tasks.
- Aid in the design of 3D models for projects.
- Assist in estimating cost for projects and funding.
- Assist project staff as needed for a variety of projects.

Qualifications:

- Minimum National Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 2+ years experience in Roads/ Drainage
- Must have drafting experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D (MicroStation advantageous)
- PS&E Preparation Process
- Design Experience
- Estimating Experience
- Must be mentally and physically capable of performing all essential duties required of the position.
- Must be able to read, analyze and interpret basic scientific, technical, financial and legal documents.
- Must have average verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external relationships.
- Must be able to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries from clients, regulatory agencies, and/or members of the business community.
- Must have Microsoft Office suite skills.
