Minimum Requirements**:

- Completed Matric/Grade 12
- Trade test (Instrumentation) and/or National Diploma (Instrumentation)
- Three to five years Process Plant maintenance experience
- Two years formal supervisory experience in a Valve/Instrumentation enviroment
- Valid driver's license
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the General Manager of Regional Operations, the successful incumbent will manage, supervise and execute the operational functions and activities of the workshop. Ensure that all repairs and service to both internal and external customers are carried out according to company policies and procedures. Engage with Regional Sales staff and customers to grow the business through the perfect execution of service activities.

**Key Performance Areas**:

- Plan, organise and execute all daily tasks including valve and instrument repairs and maintenance, equipment maintenance, housekeeping, inspections, safety, health, environmental, wellness and quality activities
- Determine customer needs and effectively market service capabilities, including installation solutions
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new customers
- Engage with all sales consultants on sales and service opportunities to ensure sound relationship management
- Ensure accurate recording of all service and maintenance activities and create and maintain records thereof
- Determine own and all team members’ skills and training requirements and facilitate effective interventions
- Supervise direct reports
- Follow established departmental policies, procedures and objectives, assuring continuous quality improvement and safety awareness through daily Toolbox talks
