**Warehouse Manager**

Location: Montague Gardens, Western Cape, South Africa

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Complete covid-19 checks before 07h30 daily
- Daily do timesheets and forward to Finance Assistant every Thursday for weekly staff
- Have twice a week meetings with staff relating to health and safety and customer services
- Ensure all trucks are loaded daily before 8am to meet customers’ requirements
- Ensure all stock is updated in its correct bin location daily for efficient pickings
- Monitor and manage the efficiency of pickings daily
- Ensure all orders are delivered timeously to customers once all checks have been done
- Ensure the entire warehouse inside and outside are clean and organise daily
- Coaching and training staff twice a week how to be efficient and accurate
- Ensure all receiving stock match the PO (if and when containers arrive) to avoid stock shortages
- Check all stock and then receipt the same (if and when containers arrive)
- Move all stock on Granite from receiving to its location within 24 hours for inventory accuracy and ensure the correct pallet numbers correspond with each pallet
- Ensure all warehouse equipment and assets are in a working and good condition daily (and report to FM) if services are due
- Do daily warehouse checks to reduce stock damages and stock losses
- Monthly cycle counts are conducted and to be consistent with good results before month end
- Ensure drivers complete trucks checks daily
- Monitor driver whereabout daily and ensuring they do not go off route to avoid next deliveries delays
- Planned the driver’s routes in an efficient and cost-effective manner
- Pick orders on Granite for the pickers, this gives them more time to pick other orders
- Receipt all incoming stock on Granite
- Check and sign all return stock before giving the copy to Accounts Admin for credit
- Daily checks to ensure warehouse and equipment are safe
- Complete once a month a health and safety checklist
- Manage the overtime and reduce additional staff working hours when operations is not busy

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Strong leadership, structure, and management capabilities
- Verbal and numerically skilled
- Previous experience in Warehouse Management & Supervision
- Experienced in stock counting cycles
