Reporting directly to the **Field**Operations Manager**, we are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic **Maintenance Supervisor**to be based in our Durban office. In this role, you will lead the operational service delivery team that ensures that KONE always delivers on its commitments to our customers in a safe and timely manner and to the agreed standards of quality. A **Maintenance Supervisor**focuses on creating customer trust, value, and loyalty and hence we are looking for somebody with a proven track record of being a go-getter and understanding customer service at its core. We need someone who can influence, is result-driven, and is customer-centric.

**What you will do?**
- Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure safe, high quality, and complete-on-time delivery of maintenance solutions within budget.
- Be there and act as the KONE interface to customers and other stakeholders.
- Support the sales team in following up with sales leads and providing KONE service and technical experience.
- Leading and supporting the maintenance team in solving and closing the open callouts and reacting in case of stopped equipment and or safety issues.
- Facilitate the delivery of service according to the service contract requirements, time limits, and KONE quality standards while adhering to local regulations.
- Prepare the overall maintenance program and resource planning.
- Responsible for administrative activities of the maintenance team including daily human resource management (absences, timesheet review/approvals) and reporting project progress (schedule, maintenance hours, fitter time sheets, budget, and risk analysis) to the management team.
- Maintain project documentation and use the KONE tools available.

- Hold a Diploma or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in the relevant industry in a supervisory position.
- Experience in the elevator and escalator industry is an advantage.
- Effective leader and coach with the ability to motivate a successful team.
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, diligent, organized self-starter with an orientation towards a high level of customer service.
- Ability to work together as a team and promote a harmonious environment.
- Passion for Mechanical & Electrical vocations, with a proven track record and a strong customer focus.
- Excellent English communication.
