Manager : Supervision Investment Providers

**Purpose of the Job**:
To manage and direct the activities of the alternative investment managers in conjunction with the Departmental Head and to advance sound and appropriate supervision of the alternative investment managers. The person appointed to this position will report to the Departmental Head: Supervision Investment Providers.
**Key Performance Areas**:
- Manage a team of analysts that perform desk based and on-site supervision following a risk based supervisory approach;
- Assist the Departmental Head in developing and maintaining an effective and efficient framework for supervision of the conduct of business by Alternative Investments;
- Ensure that supervisory plans are managed and executed on time;
- Conduct on-site inspections with team members;
- Manage the investigation of all complaints relating to Alternative Investment businesses;
- Ensure implementation of policies, guidelines and procedures to support the risk-based supervision approach;
- Liaise with and render appropriate regulatory advice to stakeholders; and
- Innovate new processes and procedures where a need is identified within the department to ensure optimum performance.
