**Job Summary**:
The Services Procurement Specialist Indirect Procurement Buyer plays an integral role by developing and implementing solid sourcing strategies while partnering with stakeholders, anticipates risk, identify key areas of opportunity to drive growth and efficiencies by selecting core suppliers and validating they provide optimal cost, quality and other measurable deliverables

**Scope of Responsibility**:
This individual is responsible for sourcing and negotiating a portfolio of goods and services, to meet the requirements of the Hub business stakeholders, Marketing Services and Business Services Spend Categories while optimizing cost and processes. The individual will also undertake proactive spend analysis and research to identify potential future tactical buying and strategic sourcing opportunities. The Buyer plays an integral role by:

- Performing buying activities (RFP, Analysis, etc.)
- Actively communicating with the business stakeholders to ensure that their purchase requirements are met
- Maintaining an awareness of changing market conditions
- Performing periodic spend analysis to see opportunities for local and Division projects
- Managing spend assigned spend categories and supporting global projects
- Conducting periodic key stakeholder meetings with business partners to review local spend category strategy and activities
- Leverage supply base opportunities across managed portfolio
- Managing, resolving and communicating on local quality and service issues.
- Prioritizing requests and activities so as to deliver in a timely manner
- Perform all necessary procurement operations activities - order processing, vendor creation and technical issue resolution
- Special projects (as appropriate)
- Achieve Business Simplification

**Required Qualifications**:

- A Bachelor degree in Arts or Science in Sourcing, Business, Finance, or comparable field is required.
- Fluent in English
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in Indirect Procurement
- Prior experience either in Professional Services (NVOs spend) or Marketing Services
- Understanding of procurement, spend category management and project management methodologies, e-procurement processes and negotiation.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- An advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification is desirable.
- SAP experience
