In this role, you will be responsible for executing sourcing events, delivering targeted savings, and mitigating supply risks. With a significant procurement spend of approximately R400m, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless supply of materials and services that align with our clients' business requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support Category and Commodity managers in implementing the sourcing strategy.
- Develop tactical procurement plans based on business requirements and guidance from managers.
- Analyze commodity spend and supply markets using cost models provided by the Sourcing Analytics team.
- Conduct RFI/Q processes, negotiate with suppliers, and draft suitable contracts.
- Prepare procurement justifications and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Manage supplier contracts with support from the Legal team.
- Coordinate with manufacturing sites to monitor supplier performance.
- Collaborate with operational procurement to resolve supply issues.
- Provide budgetary input, cost forecasts, and reports to commodity managers.
- Maintain Supply Risk registers for specified commodities.

Qualifications:

- Solid knowledge of operational procurement, systems, supplier management, cost management, and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership qualities and effective communication abilities.
- Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience in the FMCG industry.

Performance Measurements:

- Procurement savings achieved.
- Supplier service levels.
- Commodity contract coverage.
- Accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.
