Presales and Solutions Architect

The PreSales and Solutions Architect is responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions across client environments, supporting project rollouts, performing security assessments, and providing technical expertise for both pre-sales and post-deployment activities. This role requires a strong understanding of network, security, and Microsoft technologies, along with the ability to train staff and support critical escalations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the deployment of new and existing solutions across client sites, ensuring seamless implementation and mínimal disruption.
- Conduct training sessions for technical and sales staff on solutions deployed by the business.
- Perform site assessments and provide recommendations to optimize client environments.
- Conduct security audits and assessments to ensure client infrastructure meets required standards.
- Participate in pre-sales meetings, scope solutions and assist with network design recommendations.
- Handle escalations on the priority support desk and provide expert guidance for complex technical issues.
- Provide emergency and cut-over support outside of business hours when required.
- Manage licensing and spin up Azure VMs as required for client solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and conduct technical due diligence for potential solutions.
- Manage core office infrastructure including switches, firewalls and other critical networking components.
- Maintain a comprehensive technical understanding of the Microsoft suite of products and security solutions offered by the business.

**Knowledge and Skills required**
- Proven experience in network and security engineering, preferably in a client-facing role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft products (Office 365, Azure, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
- Experience with security solutions, firewalls, and switches.
- Ability to conduct technical audits and assessments.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and support staff effectively.
- Flexibility to handle after-hours support and critical escalations when required.
- Proactive approach to learning new technologies and performing technical research.
- Fortigate and Microsoft certifications not older than three years are mandatory.
