- Our client in the Automotive Industry has an EE opportunity available for a National Sales Manager to be based in the Benoni, Johannesburg area.
- Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree / diploma in Engineering or business studies
- 8 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years’ experience in managing a direct sales force (15 people or more).****:

- Experience and success in recruiting and retaining a high performance sales team and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse sales team.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plans.
- Strategy development, project management, problem solving, and change management skills.
- Ability to travel within South Africa and immediate bordering countries
- Ability to effectively present information and negotiate with all levels of management
- MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint, MS Project

KPAs:

- Create and implement effective direct sales strategies and lead nationwide direct sales personnel toward achievement of corporate sales objectives.
- Develop competencies and processes required to create an effective and efficient sales organization
- Provide sales management, budget control, compensation programs and incentive planning
- Manage to meet / exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports
- Maintain competitive market intelligence and knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies
- Attend to regular sales meetings with relevant sales staff. Also attend meetings, seminars, and conferences as appropriate.
- Travel to regions to visit key customers and branches in South Africa and bordering countries.
