**The Opportunity**

We are currently recruiting an individual that has a passion for healthcare and sustainable design by combining the following skillsets to progress the development of healthcare and infrastructure which ultimately contributes positively to the communities they are situated in.

A dynamic individual that understands the need for people-centric, society enhancing solutions that can be embodied within the various spheres under the healthcare umbrella while achieving the ideals and goals of the UN SDGs.

A specialist that can bridge the gaps between strategy, policy, master planning, medical and clinical processes and translate the need and the drive from a healthcare perspective into a tangible micro and macro infrastructure solutions.

Key to the role is to work with government bodies, funders and clients to unpack the pain points of and challenges and to collaborate and co-create sustainable, tangible, innovative solutions that are meaningful and can enhance healthcare, one intervention at a time.

The role requires an individual that has experience in current healthcare strategies, policies, trends (telemedicine, NHI, PPP’s, NetZero Hospitals etc.) and is exposed to international best practice master-planning strategies for rapid build, modular, flexible and sustainable solutions in an African context.

Healthcare is not only about a hospital, a clinic, or a tertiary academic teaching hospital, but is about the community, its people, our environment and we are looking for individuals with the following experience:

- Healthcare specialist / and or Professional Architect specialising in strategy, policy, sustainability, prefeasibility, planning, infrastructure and medical facility design
- Affiliation with healthcare bodies and knowledge groups are essential along with knowledge of core policies, infrastructure, building standards, health specific guidelines, sustainability goals (UN SGDs) and green building principles globally and in an African context
- Knowledge of digital healthcare planning tools and experience in development of client briefs and user requirement specifications / output specifications along with experience in conducting webinars and face to face presentations on healthcare
- Experience in facilitation of stakeholder workshops and co-creation virtual design workshops in combination with experience as project lead in multi-disciplinary healthcare developments and an established network in the healthcare landscape of service providers and suppliers with flagship healthcare developments in private and public sectors
