Stormcraft Studios, based in Durban, is looking or an accomplished Technical Writer who thrives on producing high-quality written content. You will be responsible for creating documentation that clarifies the features and benefits of our premium quality games in a manner that meets the requirements of the intended audience comprising our internal teams as well as the end users.

As our Technical Writer, you will produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our online games. You will join a high performing team and work collaboratively with all stakeholders and teams involved in game creation and production to build compelling slot games that provide an engaging and enjoyable player experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Work with internal and external teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
- Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension.
- Write, format, edit, review, and proof procedural and technical information for technical and non-technical users.
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
- Develop and promote the adoption of documentation templates.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product release dates and client deliverables.

**Requirements and skills***:

- 4+ years of technical writing experience
- Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
- Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Familiarity with the SDLC and software development
- Copywriting skills and experience is an added advantage
