**Junior Sales Assistant**

**Sales Assistant**

**Reporting structure**

The employee reports directly to management and carry out assigned duties.

**Employee Conduct**

The employee is expected to adhere to the Code of Conduct, Company policies and procedures.

**Customer relations**

Customers should be greeted in a friendly and approachable manner.

Every attempt should be made to meet customer expectations and address queries in a prompt manner. Any unresolved queries should be escalated to management.

**Point of Sales**

The employee should be competent in operating the point of sales system. All customer data should be uploaded and transactions processed at the assigned work station.

**Stock Management**

The employee should ensure that the display stations are fully stocked and notifying management of any stock challenges. Any out of stock items should be sourced to meet customer needs and expectations.

The employee should be knowledgeable in transferring stock from one shop / store room to another.

The employee is responsible for merchandising, i.e. from delivery to sales including**:organizing the shelf, setting up displays, labeling products and promotional signs**.

The employee will be expected to partake in stock takes.

Any stock losses or theft should be reported to management.

**Sales**

Each employee will work toward a set monthly sales target.

**Overtime**

The employee may be expected to work overtime as operationally required and will be managed according to the Basic Conditions of Employment act

**Administration**

It is expected of the employee to keep all administrative duties up to date.

All assigned duties should be carried out diligently and in a timely fashion.

**Training**

Attendance of Company training and any other scheduled training is compulsory.

**PRE-EMPLOYMENT TESTING AND SCREENING**

NB: Must be fluent in Afrikaans and English.

Must be from Modimolle, Nylstroom, Bela Bela or willing to relocate.
