The HOD/Programme Supervisor for the Faculty of Commerce is responsible for full programme management for the portfolio of programmes and staff management in the faculty. This means accountability for programme development and curriculum reviews, assessment alignment and development, module material updates and prescribed textbook lists.
**REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB**:
Minimum of an Honours or master’s degree in the cognate Faculty field
3-4 Years Experience in education of which 2 years must be in a programme management role
Must be familiar with distance/online/Hybrid learning or distance learning.
A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a TVET environment
Previous experience in managing a team of Programme Coordinators, Programme Administrators, Assessment Coordinators or similar.
High level of competency in MS Offices, particularly Word, Excel
Advantageous: Familiar with formal assessment & moderation practices, design & development, & programme structuring
