Our client currently has an opportunity for an Industrial Automation Technician. The successful incumbent must have good knowledge and experience on Programming S7 Siemens, Mitsubishi PLC experience and instrumentation.

**Position details**:
Permanent
MD
Traveling to sites

Perform routine diagnostic checks on automated systems.

Monitor automated systems. Isolate problems and perform repairs.

If a problem occurs, troubleshoot the issue, and determine if the problem is mechanical, electrical or from the computer systems controlling the process.

Once the issue has been diagnosed, repair or replace any necessary components, such as a sensor or electrical wiring.

Panel building, fault finding on packing and filling machinery.

**Location**: Johannesburg, Gauteng

**Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:
Higher Diploma or relevant Degree.

5+ years of experience working in similar position.

Programming on S7 Siemens, Mitsubishi PLC experience, AC drives and temperature controllers will be advantageous.

Good knowledge of instrumentation.
