The **Warehouse Manager/Supervisor** is responsible for the active management of all warehouse personnel as well as to successfully implement all warehouse related projects. He/she are to ensure that the operational site is properly managed and complies with the OSH Act, as well as any other regulatory authorities.
As the **Warehouse Manager/Supervisor** you will be responsible for:
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Planning**
Align planning with objectives and benchmarks KPI’s
Have the ability to create a monthly dispatch plan looking at stock availability and future stock. (National Distribution Delivery Plan)
Effectively plan logistics routes to save cost and reduce delivery time
**Operations Management**
Oversee daily warehouse activities IE: receiving, picking, packing, dispatch
Plan resources for best performance outputs IE : labour and transport
Monitor Benchmarks and implement corrective actions as needed
Drive Processes according to SOP’s to ensure we are consistent and deliver accurate service delivery
**Leadership**
Effectively manage the operations teams.
Have the ability to train, record and monitor performance
Conduct performance appraisals monthly and provide feedback and an action plan for development or performance management
**Customer Service**
Collaborate with customer service, Sales, Service, to fulfil orders timeously, accurately and efficient
Address customer concerns and complaints quickly and swiftly
**Warehouse Management**
Manage regular cycle counts weekly and ensure 0% discrepancies during quarter national stock take audit
Ensure proper documentation and recordings of received and dispatched goods. IE Transfer slips, Picking Slips, Delivery Notes, Inspection Notes
Ensure work allocation plan is implemented according to the monthly dispatch plan
**Logistics**
Monitor expenses IE : Fuel, toll repairs
Ensure all safety checks are completed for all vehicles and equipment
**Qualifications**
- Min of 3 years Transport/Warehouse environment
- Further tertiary qualification/diploma/degree in Supply Chain Management
**Experience**
- Prior experience in working in the Health/Medical industry (Public & Private Hospitals) will be beneficial
- Sound knowledge and working ability with Excel
- General Math Skills
- Well-experienced with Microsoft Suite products
- Strong knowledge of OSH Act
- Effective reporting skills
- Sound knowledge of Inventory control
**Requirements**:
- Valid drivers’ license
- Forklift license
- Own reliable transport
- Residing in Pretoria or surrounding areas
- Availability after hours, on an ad-hoc basis
