**CNC MATERIALS HANDLER/OPERATOR- HEAD OFFICE (RANDBURG)**

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Stock Preparation: Preparing and delivering stock for upcoming orders in each machine cell, maintaining a well-coordinated production flow.
- Timely Delivery: Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of correct parts in properly labelled bins or trolleys to meet production requirements.
- Process Continuity: Guaranteeing the smooth transition of parts from one operation to the next by presenting them in the correct manner.
- Product Expertise: Possessing strong product and process knowledge to identify and deliver the right stock for each machine cell.
- SAP Coordination: Releasing and coordinating production orders in SAP, accompanied by necessary documentation like drawings.
- Accurate Record-Keeping: Completing precise confirmations on SAP during stock transfers and maintaining accurate records.
- Kanban System: Managing Kanban bins physically and in the SAP system, ensuring a continuous material supply.
- Effective Communication: Maintaining open communication channels with operators, foremen, and relevant staff to ensure production runs smoothly.
- Staging and Quality: Transporting finished products to the staging area while maintaining a strong focus on quality standards.
- Stock Management: Conducting weekly stock counts in designated areas to uphold inventory accuracy.
- Immediate Reporting: Notifying the Production manager promptly of any discrepancies or quality issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Safety and Housekeeping: Adhering to established health, safety, and housekeeping guidelines to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Versatility: Filling in as an operator when necessary, showcasing your adaptability and commitment to teamwork. Being able to set and operate any CNC machine (Lathes, Gear cutters, Milling and auxiliary machines as and when required).
- Administrative Support: Performing administrative tasks as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations. (Such as Eff reports, Daily target sheets, Drawings, Data capturing, 5S audits, usage reports such as tooling, oil, etc per machine/person where needed).

**Qualifications and other Requirements**:

- Matric
- Proven CNC operating experience
- Computer literacy - MS Office.
- Able to use various CNC measuring equipment accurately and precisely
- Setter experience will be an advantage
- Be willing to work shifts; And overtime when required
